# Pekaway App

The Pekaway Connect app can be connected to your VAN PI OS. It operates locally over WiFi. If the system is connected to the internet via an LTE router, you can also control it remotely. All you need is a user account with your email. It sends data via an MQTT broker. All connections are encrypted and not stored. If you want to use your own server, that is also possible.

The app is intended for operation and display purposes only, not for system configuration.
